With the current economy biting at your heels, there is no better way to invest
your marketing budget than to focus on the DOMESTIC LEISURE market.
SA Tourism has conducted extensive research and determined that more than 6 million
people are ready to travel more for leisure and holiday reasons – but have not been
provided with information, packages and assistance to make that step. The real challenge
is to create a culture of holiday travel in our local market and to stimulate conversion.
Our core objectives are :
• To create an accessible and affordable holiday offering to emerging market
• To promote the affordability of local holidays
• To create demand for domestic holiday offers
• To stimulate uptake of domestic holiday offers
• Build on existing SAT Sho’t Left Campaign Concept “Fun with Friends”
• To measure uptake of domestic holiday offers promoted via DDC activities
In summary we aim to source and publicise a wide range of affordable holidays which
are easy for the local market to book and use.
